Or are they just a scam? How much money do you think a fund could make a month scalping with with about 2 million dollars spread across 30-50 sportsbooks with say 5-10 skilled scalpers working on it? Also how much bonus and rollover money would this make per month? Are limits on soccer; tennis etc high enough for this to work?

I know players that arb (I do baseball a little) but have never heard of an actual fund. I have always thought of this(a fund) but the problem is you need a square shop and sharp shop and usually the squre shop has limits and they aren't usually high. Exchanges are nice to have for these.

actualy I have heard about them. Attempted to arb on my own this past year and even though I haven't made a whole lot of money doing it, I did learn alot more about the market (sports betting) and line movement, nice tricks that I think have helped improve my overall game.

With the advent of more betting exchanges you will have a far greater chance to do some arbing yourself, rather than entrusting your money with anyone else. Personally there are great opportunities to arb on the tennis between Pinny and Betfair, and the beautiful thing with Betfair, is that if you have a lean to a side then you dont have to place your entire arb there before the match starts, you can wait until after it starts and bet in the run, or hedge half ( or the fraction youre comfortable with ) before the match starts, and let the other half run for as long as you like.

As a rule, I prefer to make my own decisions when it comes to sports as in the end I wish to be solely responsible for any losses that I incur. Dont get me wrong, I will listen to people whose opinions I value, but generally that only involves matches I have already selected for potential wagering. They generally will not make me instigate a play, but moreso affect my staking. I have no problem taking advice or paying more credence to stock tips, as the information is far more specialised, but when it comes to sports I prefer to be the soul judge in the end.

Be VERY careful. The main problem with betting arbitrage is that books LIMIT you. I know pro arbers who are on their TENTH identity or beard with certain books.

Hence, the reason most of these so-called funds exist is to receive deposits and then run for the hills when they have enough cash in. Meanwhile, "investors" get statements saying UP 20% this month, UP 40% this month, and so on.

Exactly, you almost need to be in two or three with your start date being staggered to cover a end date. Note, it was how it was explained to me as to how to avoid the problem, you figure out the rest.

I am guessing you are scalping, your scalping service. Or is that hedgeing?

Hedgesyn was one of these arbitrage funds 3 years ago until someone ran away with all the e-gold.

Now one of these funds might be legitimate, just don't count on it.
What astounds me is that people just talked about it leisurely and had fun posting on their forum, but it seems like no one called the police while these guys were still active.

Boy can I offer you the investment of a lifetime!!! I've developed an incredible program that is able to predict sporting events to 80% accuracy so there is no need for arbs!!! It works on every sport and every type of bet, so capital can be turned over multiple times daily! Since the bets have an average edge of 50% I will be able to double the capital daily!! Unfortunately I spent ALL of my money on developing the program except for $4.99, and unfortunately the minimum bet is $5!!!! I will be prepared to pay anyone who invests in my fund 90% of the winnings created from their stake of the investment!!! We shouldn't settle for peanuts so I think we should start with $10000. The more we start with the more we make!!!!

Please send $10000 to badscammer@scammersRus.com to take advantage of this opportunity!!!!!

Enjoy!!
