Ok look at this line I got Sunday night. I have KC +3.5 risking 6280 to win 4,000.
Right now I can bet Seattle -3.5 risking 4,000 to win 16,320. If Seattle were to win by 4 or more I would make $10,040 risk free. I would break even if KC were to lose by 3 or less or win the game.
I could also tinker the amount bet on Seattle and have any range of outcomes including betting a certain amount where I would win the exact same amount no matter what the outcome.
Scalping is betting both sides of the same game and having a profitable outcome if either side wins or having a profitable outcome if one side wins and Break even if the other side wins.

I cannot agree more. I was shocked to see how many tried to hedge that one for absolutely no reason.primetime21 said:For example, when alot of us took the steeler free wager at mansion it was a great +ev situation. Now some people that are risk averse hedged to guarantee money. but in reality they simply cut into their super high +ev situation since they took a free situation and added 10 percent juice to a hedge thereby cutting into their +ev situation.
This may indeed be a bit of a different situation for some, but only if you know a line will change and are purposely over betting. In the Steeler situation plenty of high bank-roll (poker) guys were even hedging it.D2bets said:Would it still be terrible if his original bet had been for $10,000, or $100,000, or $1,000,000 or....?
