Cards Fans: 3 Down and 1 to go to the World Championship!

I have been waiting for about 24 years to say only one more win. It won't be easy but it seems like we have all the karma right now. Game was great tonight as I just got back! I have never yelled so much in my life! I guess I am going to have to pay the scalpers price tomorrow night unless someone has a ticket cause I am not going to miss it! Cards fans sleep well tonight cause we got to have Kool and the Gang ready to roll tomorrow night! I know how White Sox and Red Sox fans must have felt up 3-0 with one win to go. I am going to cherish tonight and hope you other Cards fans are as well as game went exactly the way I thought it would with Tigers throwing their best punch. Thought Cards would win but wasn't willing to bet on it! As Jack Buck used to say and after Game 6 of 82 World Series, " We will see you tomorrow night!" You never know if it could be the last one in our lifetime!

Researching it right now and will get back to you. I am also looking to pull some strings to get them even cheaper than what they will likely be going for online. Has to be some people out there that had Game 4 Tix but can't go Friday night due to the rainout!

Was it in '85 that the Cards had a WS 3-1 lead and lost it in 7?Not saying that it's going to happen this year as I think after seeing tonight's game that the Cards will win it.But wanted to know if you remember that '85 series?

I was 12 in '82, 15 in 85'. I remember series vividly. Still remember how it ended as as well in 96. I think the difference this year is us being the underdogs instead of the favs. Being loose will make all the difference. Cards Nation will get it done tomorrow. BOL

I was 10 years old when Kirk Gibson hit the Walk-Off shot in '88 I remember holding my little 3 mo. old brother and running around the house imitating Gibson...SO I envy that feeling..WOW! 1 win away.BOL

I really felt like we stole this one and I hope Weaver can finish them. DET played their best game and just mucked it up. ONE MORE fellas. Wow do the tigers look like an AL team or what every time they field a bunt they looked shocked and throw it away. Welcome to real baseball boys.

What makes me even more nervous is public who predicted a sweep is now saying it's over when it's FAR from it, tomm. night is huge and DET started to swing the bats effectively. I don't need teh Public's bad chalk eating asses ruining our mojo by bandwagon jumping at the last minute.
