I notice that pinnacle pays full track odds but sportsbook.com pays only 300-1 max...any info on whether the $ is in fact sent into and comingled with track pools?

if I remember correctly, pinnacle and betcris both do....

but im sure the horse players will chime in and let you know.

one thing for sure WSEX does not and I think more than 90% of books do not.

No book compares to pinnacle for horses. The rebate program alone is a monster. If a track tri pays 5000 you will get 5000 or what ever it pays.My guess is that they grade your action and if you are proven winner its into the pool otherwise they hold it. Also much better rule on the picks. If you have a scratch all combos are refunded you dont get stuck with the favorite.

Pinnacle money goes into mutuel pools, CRIS reportedly does not.

Why do you want to know? Going to bet some rigged races?

How in the hell could pinny make money on horses if they sent them into the pool AND pay those rebates? I highly doubt they are sending these wagers into the pool. What makes you think so?

...because they have an agreement with US tracks to get a 10% rebate?

It's this wonderful thing called takeout. Then Pinny only pays the host about 3% of all wagers and keeps the remaineder of takeout. Without purses or horsemen or taxes to pay or buildings to upkeep like racetracks, the rest is profit for Pinnacle. PLENTY of room to spare for rebates.
