In light of recent developements regarding the recently passed gambling Bill, there are several facts that seem very relevent to which Sports Books We should be trusting our action with.
First off I feel that originally most of us thought that if a Sportsbook was publicly traded on a major Stock exchange that our funds would be safe. However the exact opposite seems to be the case. Both BOS and WWTS are prime examples and if We want to take it a bit further We should remember that when E-Bay bought out PayPal..... well Paypal quit dealing with any gambling related Companies. Neteller might follow the same path in 9 months.
I actually feel that my funds might very well be more secure with Sportsbooks that are privately owned and operated. I think that they can and will simply respond to the gambling Bill passed here in the USA that gambling is legal in their country and therefore will simply ignore the USA phony gambling Bill. Therefore I would like to know about the ownership of Sportsbooks endorsed by the RX. Are the Sportsbooks that have a banner at RX Privately owned or are they public owned and listed on Stock EXChanges ?
Secondly I feel that long term, countries where gambling is legal will not honor the USA Bill since gambling is legal within their borders. Since it will be pretty much impossible to try and go after all the millions of gamblers in the USA, I feel when all the dust settles in a year or two, the Bill will pretty much have no support except making it harder to finance accounts.
What makes this whole fiasco so ridiculous is that Sports Gambling should really be legalized and regulated here in the USA. Nobody will ever nor should they be able to stop people from gambling on Sports. Ironically if somehow gambling could be eliminated 100 %....... Could you even imagine what a negative impact it would have on fans interest in watching the games ? The ratings would plunge and the $ 10 Million yearly salaries of all these spoiled players would also plunge. It always blows my minds what big hypocrites the NFL and other Sports commissioners are when they Spew about the evils of gambling. I almost wish that We could somehow put a moratorium on all gambling and let the phony anti gambling Nerds see what would happen to their budgets and finances. Of course We all know that people would still gamble..... but with local bookies. You would think that the failure during Prohibition would be a lesson but I guess the law makers are about to learn once again that people will revolt when someone tries to tell them they can't be free to spend their hard earned $$ as they feel ! OK... I'm done venting.... for now !
For our Lawmakers... You make me ucking:
