<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=1 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD align=left>Parlay Comparison</TD></TR><TR><TD align=left> For the third consecutive year, Las Vegas Sun gambling columnist Jeff Haney has done a city-wide comparison of football parlay-card payoffs. Jeff’s research shows a general lowering of payoffs, which makes you wonder, considering (according to his article) that last year’s hold on the cards was 24.8%. One notable increase is the payoff on 3-teamers, upped to 6.5-1 (from last year’s best of 6-1) at Stratosphere and Arizona Charlie’s. Following is a round-up of the best payoffs found in Las Vegas sports books.
This year eight books (opposed to 11 last year) offer the best payoff of 12-1 for 4-teamers. From that point, it’s all Cal-Neva (Tuscany), which dominates the scene with the best payoffs for picking 5 teams at 25-1, 6 teams at 50-1, 7 teams at 103-1 (down from last year’s best city-wide of 109-1), 8 teams at 207-1 (down from 229-1), 9 teams at 419-1 (down from 439-1), and 10 teams at 924-1 (up from 899-1). </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
