Just home from the Charger game. Did you guys really think I would just let today's pitiful performance sneak by?

Reggie Bush is a total fraud (just like USC was). 5 carries, 2 TURNOVERS, and the feelings hurt limp off the field with a "ankle injury". Give me a break! Marques Colston is the best rookie on the Saints and their are 10 rookies easily playing better than Bush.

By the way:

Leinart 0-4

Vince Young 2-2

First, i think bush may be a bit overrated. he has a ton of moves, but in terms of being a full time back like LT, i am not sure he will ever be that.

As for young and leinart, its an unfair comparison since young's passing has been pretty awful but since he can run he is able to contribute more. remember, first year RB's tend to do great. So young is basically a first year RB making plays with his legs and not his arm.

A bit overrated? or maybe the most overrated player ever to come into the league. Go back through this Rx and find all the posts comparing him to LT, Sanders, etc... He can't hold those players' jock straps

I can't side with u on this one brother. I know I am a biased former Highlander, but few had the college career that he had. He has shown signs of what he can do with the ball, like the punt return that resulted in a win. He also is sharing duties so he isn't getting the workload carrying the ball. However, he is well on pace to set some kind of record for rookie receptions. No doubt he was shut down big time by the Ravens D, which I heard is pretty good.

Also, brother, what should I do now with my Reggie jersey that I got b4 the season. I'd feel bad to just burn it.

Money, he is sharing duties because he is not good enough to earn the carries. Who cares how many catches he gets when he has the LOWEST yards/catch in the league and catches all 1 yard hitch passes. Bring back Sports City Cafe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess you're not too big on Deuce then, either.

Here's a comparison...

LT 32 rec. 7.7 ypr
Reggie 38 rec. 7.5 ypr

Reggie will not be an LT-type runner, this we know. But this stat is just to put up against ur ypr comment.

C'Mon Money, you have to include today:

Reggie 42 rec (6.8 ypc)
LT: 35 rec (8.7 ypc).

Ramon, you don't want to put LT and Bush in the same sentence. That is great disrespect to the MAN

I am just surprised, now having seen the bashing thread from earlier this month, that you do not like Bush's ability. It would seem you would like the type of character he has displayed throughout his career. I know the anti-sc tho is a big factor for u. All the bit with the agents just goes back to the days back in Oceanview. Lloyd Lake, the would-be agent, is now in jail, and there is no way to stop parents (mom and stepdad) from doing whatever they are going to do while Bush can do nothing to stop it.

CMon Mony, you're better than that! No way to stop parents from doing whatever they are going to do? Why not? He knew everything that was going on and partook in it plenty. Character he has displayed? That's funny. Are you fooled too with the Katrina stuff to divert attention from his scandal?
AS for his ability, he won his Heisman against the same Fresno State team that nevada's RB ran for 200+ yards against and got fat against pathetic-10 defenses. You know they don't play D out here. Now he is seeing what real speed and real D look like and he is lost. He is so overhyped it's unreal. If you didn't know better, one would think he is having a huge rookie year. Wali Lundy is running better for crying out loud, not to mention Leon Washington, Maroney, Addai, Jones-Drew, and Norwood - all without the fanfare. Bush isn't even the best rookie on his own team (undrafted Colquitt would get that honor).

I know that I am so lazy that I prolly would not take the time to go hand out turkeys to people so I look good in front of a camera. Or even go pound a few nails like I'm some habitat for humanity worker just for the sake of my image. I'm just coming at you from my perspective. Don't forget eastcountysports.com's angle on this. When u see a kid come out of Oceanview and step onto the field and bust for 247 as a sophomore playing his first varsity game because he just became old enough, you tend to take a liking to a player. When u go up to a kid and he might be getting his first interview, and I'm standing in two inches of mud just to see what this young No. 5 is about, I don't think u r going to be able to change my perception on this one. I've seen plenty of busts from my area... Jim Plum, Scott Webb, Steve Webster to name a few, I am not here to debate the point necessarily, but I will tell u that I am a fan of his.
Now if I start to hear u tell me that the winner of this week's West Virginia-Louisville game is going to win the national championship because the Big East is the power conference...

That's cool, at least you can admit you have a personal bias.

70 carries for 212 yards. There is no bias in those #'s. He is on pace for a whopping 485 yards.

People on this forum had him running for 1500 with 15 TDs and compared him to real RB's like LT and Faulk
