peyton will change all that this postseason, and if he had Vinateri last season he would've won the the SB

How can ANYONE, ANYONE pick a Manning over Brady? Are you serious? I dont care how many TDs Manning has, how many rings is he wearing? Tom Brady is a winner guys. I get chills every time I see him step toward the line to avoid the rush, you cant teach that. Just look at the rings on Bradys hand. I cant believe this is even a discusion on a board like this.

Peyton Manning is probably the best quarterback I've ever seen.

This coming from a guy who had dolphins season tickets all throughout the Marino years.

Manning is just unbelieavble to watch.

Wile Brady has had the benefit of having some good defenses, great coaching, great coordinators, great KICKERS, etc....he's a WINNER.

But, man Peyton Manning throws the ball all over the field. For a big guy, he also can move around the pocket a little bit. He has a quick release, good arm, great touch when he needs it. He's the total package.

You put Peyton on those Patriot teams, and I have no doubt he would have not only duplicated Brady, but may have generated even more offense.

One thing about Brady also is he is probably a better outdoor QB also. So those snow games he would have won, while I dont know if Peyton could have.

Box... well said.

Peyton does struggle in cold weather. I really feel that the reason peyton has lost the playoff games that he has is becuase he feels like he has to do too much to make up for his defense. And of course he had one of the most Unclutch kickers of all time.

The only time Brady has not looked good in the playoffs was last year when his defense wasn't playing well. Brady fealt he had to to do it all, and in the end Brady played poorly.

A great defense can really help out a QB... A great defense can even make Rex Grossman look like a pro bowler. Look at the one game where the Bears D didn't show up. Rex fealt the pressur for the first time, and played his worst game of the season.

Colts better fix their Run D... or it will probably be another tough loss for peyton in the playoffs.

Brady has won everywhere he has been even as a back up to Drew Henson at Michigan....Manning has lost everywhere he has been.
Brady took a paycut to share the wealth with other players under the cap.

The closest thing to Marvin Harrison or Reggie Wayne, Brady has ever had is Deion Branch and he is gone.
Doug Gabriel was the 3rd reciver for the Raiders.Reche Caldwell was the 3rd reciver for the Chargers.
The closest thing to Edrin James Brady ever had to a running back is what you saw tonight rookie Lawrence Maroney.
Brady has more wins than any other QB in the league since he started.

That by the way is the only real stat that counts.

Oh and by the way for those of you guys in this thread who are just getting to understand football. The Pats won the SB in 01 under Tom Brady with a defense ranked about 28th in the league.

Its just like who would you have to start a baseball team Derek Jeter or Barry Bonds...Hint:Jeter

These two are head and shoulders above anybody else out there right now, and while I think both are great, great players, Peyton is the best I've ever seen, and I do believe at least one super bowl is in his future, maybe two or three. jmo

As a legitimate Boston homer, it's tough to sit here and build up Brady to more than he is. People outside of the New England area though have to understand this man's poise and preparation on a week to week basis is unrivaled. He gets better and better before our eyes and already before the age of 30 is hailed around here with such atheletes as Larry Bird, Ted Williams, Bill Russell, Bobby Orr, Ray Bourque and now-a-days David Ortiz. Take Peyton's yardage, touchdowns, family legacy and commercials and shove them straight up your ass. Give me Brady and a bunch of players that buy into winning and I'm happy for years to come.

I don't know if brady is better than peyton, but to say brady is the most overrated player is just plain stupid. In fact i have never read anything more stupid than this. You can argue if peyton played with patriots defense he would have duplicated New England success. On the other side you could also say if brady had colts receiver he would have duplicated his success.Imo they are equally strong and in the top 3 qb-ranking in the league right now.

cheers,

colton

Peyton threw his OL under the bus after a playoff loss to Pitt last year.

I have no respect for Mannning after that interview.

Eli asked not to be taken by SD in the draft and told them not to draft him. Fawk them both.
