I know the waiting is frustrating for everybody. We continue to monitor the situation and will make payouts when we have determined that there is no other recourse for customers. Until that time, it would be unfair for theRX to pay customer monies that they still have a chance of receiving from BOS.

For the record any guarantees made only cover DEPOSITS made at BetONSports (ONLY) from August 9th. 2005 until July 15th. 2006. No such guarantees were made for Millenium or VWager (or any other books). Posters who registered after July 15th. 2006 are not covered. Any deposits made before August 9th 2005 or after July 15th. 2006 (unlikely) are also not covered.

In two weeks we will know what we already know. Stiffing employees is bad news in any country but especially in pro-worker Costa Rica. No one expects them to pay and they have sold off every pencil and will be out of town before the 12th or face charges in CR.

I would imagine if and when the RX has to pay that they arent too exposed. I remember the post that Marty made because i commented on it. The verbage was something along the lines of:
'I will guarantee 10k of my own money for any of our members that have more posts than me'
and my post was something along the lines of 'wow, thats ballsy considering you only have like 50 posts.'
So its not like they are saying they will cover ALL BOS accounts, just the ones that had more than 50 posts a couple years ago.

The rx needs to include Millenium as many of us used them because of the generous bonus and free half point, that was often endorsed right here at the RX.
Do not quote me, but wasn't their banner or some advertising also part of the RX?
Millenium was sucked into the BOS mess and it would be unfair to not include them as part of the family.

I think that any BOS books that advertised here (Millenium and VWager among others) must be included in the guarrantee. Wil's post excluding them seems to have come way too late. If that were the way the guarrantee was intended somebody should have said something when the subject first came up. Making rules now is not right.

I for one believe any book that was accepted and advertised here should have some sort of guarantee however small it might be mentioned. I appreciate very much what the rx has done over the years to educate people on the offshore and sports gambling industry. Particularly the countless efforts from current and past management to help mediate and investigate player disputes. It's an unfortunate episode that has hurt all parties involved monetarily and in terms of credibility. I played with V-Wager only because of a RX sponsored contest and it's disappointing to think some will get a % back while others will not. I'am confident we'll get a final decision before the holidays.
