Have any of you been having a problem accessing the BetCRIS website? I've been able to reach the site for the past couple of days. I haven't seen anything about it here on the boards so I'm wondering if its my firewall configuration or something...

Prophet, it's working fine for me but I've read a handful of people at other forums are having issues too?

Did you upgrade to IE7 by chance?

Thanks, the basic.betcris and betcris give me "page cannot be displayed", but that works fine.

Time Warner (RoadRunner) in NYC has blocked several web sites including Wagerweb, matchbook and Cris...Rumor has it that they have Voluntarily started to block gambling web sites..I hate to be a cynic, but this could be the end of off-shore gambling as we know it!

Any other websites you heard they're blocking, where did you get this info? And, do those sites work for you....

I'm changing my fucking isp right now if they're going to regulate what I do with it. It's not their fucking job.

I Spoke to Technical Support at Road Runner (they claimed that they do not block web sites)..but they couldnt figure out why the sites were not working..They told me I needed to e-mail the Internet Security Department, which amazingly does not have a phone number or extension...so I am waiting a response via e-mail. If anyone else is having problems i would reccommend doing the same so we can get on top of this before i have t start switching ISP's. The e-mail address spamblock@security.rr.com

They are blocking sites. I just used kproxy.com to try to access betcris and it worked perfectly.

Edit - Can somebody confirm that wagerweb and matchbook work for them?

Edit #2 - Damn, just tried wagerweb with proxy and it worked fine. Fucking isp.

The only reason I know about those 3 is because i have accounts with them and Betpac.com (which is a wagerweb sister site)

I heard from a reliable source that Cris and Wagerweb were working together to solve the issue and they believe it was done voluntarily by Roadrunner

Thats some lame shit, oh well. I can access them through proxy so it's not that bad, but if this lasts a few more days and isn't just some test - I'll drop them out of principle.
