Former cuban judo olympian fighitng out of Australia and apparently has pretty good striking. Dominated Gono early in his first pride fight, then blew his wad (ran outta gas).

Mousasi is a striker with limited ground skills.
I see Lombard taking Mousasi down and pounding for a TKO or via sub or he could get KO;d

Sen, I haven't checked the odds. What are the odds on Kang now? I picked him to win the whole thing at the beginning. I thought he and Henderson would be the final.

I'm hesitant in laying bets against Gono and Misaki because they are both good vets and pride may want to have a japanese fighter advance if it's a close decision.

Arsenal soccer - Doing everything right but score atm. Saw the CSKA game and that was crazy. Totally dominated with no goals. I think they will score at least one against West Ham.
Gomi over Aurelio - Shocked Gomi was caught by an arm triangle last time, don't see it happening again.
Ishida over Bielkheden - Ishida will be too strong and control from the top to win this imo. If Shaolin, Aurelio and Marcello can't sub Ishida, then I highly doubt Bielkheden can.
Bustamante over Yoon Dong Sik - Bustamante is like 40yo but is too experienced and skilled both boxing and ground than Yoon.

ouch, Lombard loses a UD. Mousasi is much taller and surprisingly good on the ground. Lombard gave his back a few times and Mousasi just locked him in a body triangle. Lombard couldn't escape and both did nothing apart from that. A few choke attempts but they were nothing.

Filho is injured? Misaki replaces him. Filho was also injured in the last MW GP IIRC. Shouldn't the alternate be fighting instead?
I knew they will find a way to put a Japanese fighter in the finals

Gomi by SD over Aurelio in a snorefest. Both did little, Gomi being the more aggressive.

Ishida by UD over Biehelden. Ishida dominated on top and rode the UD.

Bustamante by UD over Yoon. Bustamante would've had a sub if the match was any longer imo.

Buscape over Obiya by dec. Missed this fight.

Kang over Gono. Flashy entrance by Gono. Slow action, Kang clearly in control imo.

Filho subbed Misaki by armbar. Filho is an animal. Strongest in his weight class imo. Total domination on the ground.

Other fights without any odds.
Pearson over Maeda - Big upset. Maeda in guard, looked like everything was fine but Pearson adjusts and gets the guillotine.

Kikuta over Frenchman - Kikuta went for subs most of the match and got the UD.

Minowa over Barton by dec - Missed most of this, apparently it was a BS decision.

Aoki over French by Triangle - Slick ground skills by Aoki. Dunno about the yellow pants though.

GP champ is... MISAKI by split decision!
Kang controlled the ground game/gnp and almost had an armbar near the end. Misaki came back with a few knockdowns and had Kang turtled up while knee'ing him a few times. Oh well, if Filho was in it, he'll beat both Kang and Misaki again.

Lost my orig wager with Kang to win it all. Won on Gomi and Bustamante. I'll probably download these fights tomorrow and watch them.
