Monta Ellis-G.St. Warriors.

They loved his talent last year coming out of high school and so far this year he is showing glimpses of his enormous potential.

Kid is shooting over 50% so far, and put up 22 on opening night.

He won't fly under the radar for long.

He really impressed me at the end of last season...the kid's gonna be good. Not sure he'll be able to crack the starting lineup in GS, but someone's gonna eventually pay him to get some serious run. I wouldn't break up him and Diogu, if I was Golden St.

Agree, I saw him play several times last year on TV and was really impressed with what I saw.

Warriors have a ton of "athletes", but not a lot of real basketball sense. Baron Davis isn't a good leader for that team, just another player in the mold of the others. They need a real PG to put them together. I get the same sense with the Clippers, although they clearly have more overall talent. These shooting PGs just aren't going to get it done unless the team nicely fills out the roles and everyone knows them and sticks to them. Look at the Nets, mostly a bunch of athletes and not a lot of clear roles, but with Kidd running the show they find a way to be a legitimate team.

Good points here! Also Murphy and Dunleavy are way too soft. They will get killed my teams who exploit them inside. Diogu is too short and Foyle looks so mechanical out there that at times i think he is a robot. Ellis has a nice shot and is streaky, but i do not see him being a great player in this
league. As far as Baron Davis lasting the year and continuing to play somewhat decent and lead this team? No way in hell. This guy will sit down with little nagging injuries and i just don't see him as a team leader, nor a player who can lead a team deep in the playoffs. Warriors will not win many games this year unless J Rich carries this team on his back.

Ellis cracked the starting lineup and went for a career high 21. Not bad for a kid in his second year leaping to the league from high school.
