There wasnt any games "bumped". NBC and/or the NFL just looked at the matchups and thought that the Bears/Giants game was the best on that date. If you look at the 12th week schedule, there isnt any 8:00 game yet but I'm sure that the Bears/Patriots might be on that week.

nov.26 selection could very well be bears/pats or maybe eagles/colts.

that is suprising. I thought that fox and CBS got first crack at the top game of the day and then whatever was left over could be selected as the SNF game. I thought I heard that at the beginning of the season. Cant see that as being true, now however since this is definately the most intriguing matchup of the week and any network that passed on this game missed the boat.

The NFL is implementing for the first time this year a "flexible scheduling" element on Sundays in Weeks 10-15 and in Week 17. Flexible scheduling will ensure quality matchups in all NFL Sunday time slots in those weeks and give teams a chance to play their way onto primetime and into the late-afternoon 4:15 p.m. ET time slot on CBS and FOX.
For each of the flexible scheduling weeks with the exception of Week 17, the NFL will announce the start times of games on Sundays no later than 12 days prior to that weekend. To ensure a Sunday night game and doubleheader games with playoff implications in Week 17, the flexible scheduling decision for that Sunday may be made on six days notice.

I do know the game was originally scheduled to be on FOX, so thy can take games from other networks.

Thanks for clearing it up guys, I never looked that far into the schedule. :103631605

The networks can also "protect" something like 5 games for the rest of the year.

The original choice was Steelers/Saints that was bumped in honor of Giants/Bears.

As a Charger fan, I am shocked that Chargers/Broncos got picked to replace Colts/Cowboys. With Colts possibly still being unbeaten and the Cowboys being such a soap opera, I would've thought they would keep their original choice. They picked the better game though

Pssh; I don't know why. Colts would destroy the Cowboys. I don't wanna watch TO cry about it.

Chargers/Broncos divisional matchup is much mroe interesting to me.

I wish last nights game was bumped

Last nights game should never have been picked. At no point was Oakland expected to be good, and have a chance in Seattle.

the way the Steelers have been playing lately they deserve to get bumped sorry if I offended any Steeler fans Bears,Giants IMO will be a much better game but, you never know with Eli being interception prone. I also feel that Den/SD was the right choice this game will be awesome.

Somehow EsPN has gotten screwed bigtime by NBC! Just look at the games on MNF and SNF! You CAN'T look at them on SNF as they have the right to change the game!

You'd think that as many nights as ABC had MNF, that they would have an edge! Guess money talks!
