I've been using this program that lets you watch a selection of TV Channels on your computer. It doesn't have all the channels that a gambler would want to have, but it does get ESPN, ESPN 2, NBC (For Sunday Night Football) NBA TV (shows some NBA games some nights). Last night I watched the Monday Night Football game and the Canucks/Stars game from the Rogers Sportsnet Pacific feed on my computer. There is a slight delay, seems to vary from channel to channel, but it doesn't seem like it's anymore than a couple of minutes. I am curious if anyone is using a similar program that has a wider selection of sports channels. If anyone is please post and let me know. Anyways, here is the link to the program from Download.com that I am using currently. It's called TVU Player.

Been using it for a couple of months now and it's pretty good except for the occasional picture freezing which is unbelievably annoying when it's 3rd and inches on the 4 yard line. The teams are lined up and. Nothing. You miss the play.

The other major pissoff was during the MLB playoffs and for some reason, Fox wasn't available on gameday. Wanna watch Seinfeld? No probs. StL-Det? Forget it.

it's getting too popular. Eventually, it's going to be out-lawed and people who are streaming it for us are going to be threatened/fined. The picture is not always great as my LSU/Ten feed was horrible. One play I'm happy that LSU is moving the ball, freeze frame, and I see Crompton going out on the field on offense. :pucking:

It might be tough to out law because it's out of the country. Their server is somewhere in Asia I think.

Sorry Fat Tony. I wasn't sure if it had been posted here yet. Regardless, some new people will discover it this time.

My bad. (I just realized I came off as a dick with my reply.) It just keeps getting posted in here.

It's good for "blackouts" of local games that you can't get.

No worries FT. I think I'll try this sopcast program that I saw on the web site ( http://www.myp2p.eu/ ) that quantumleap posted. Looks like it gets more NBA games. Thanks for the link quantumleap.http://www.myp2p.eu/

Does anyone know one of these P2P programs that gets HBO? That would be pretty sweet as I'm in Canada and don't get that channel on cable.

LLS, tvu has HBO on it (from Singapore I think - I have the HBO Asia site bookmarked for the tv guide).

sopcast is pretty good too as it has a much wider selection of channels.

I was thinking the same thing but I just checked and they must have gotten rid of HBO.

They have their own forum for suggestions to channels to add.

where is the best place to go to see what each channel is playing...... other then trying every single sites tv list. Is there a general list for upcomming events on the channels?

Try that link that quantumleap gave. Click on a sport and it shows the schedule for multiple P2P programs. Handy.

Tried to get sopcast up and running but it can't detect my player, so it doesn't work for me. Oh well.

Thanks. I'll try looking for HBO again LogansRun.
