I just got an email from them asking for a copy of my Social Security card. Are they insane?? Who would do that?? This is after I've used them with no problems.

Tony, if the funds were already sent why are they asking now?

Makes no sense. There's no way I'm doing that.

Send your SS card to a complete stranger??? Never!

So now what? Aren't there other ways to verify who you are? And what happens to the funds already sent if you don't?

Here's what happened, I just talked to them. My phone number is off a digit. So now they sent a laundry list of things they need from me to confirm who I am:

A copy of the front and back of your driver's license,

A copy of your most recent phone bill (with your current address);

A copy of your SSN card.

If you require Credit Card access, we also need the following documentation:

A copy of the front and back of your credit card;

A copy of your most recent Credit Card statement;

Too bad for you. You need to make sure your information is accurate when you sign up, hopefully you learned your lesson. For what its worth I've used ATM online with a disconnected cell phone number for over a year and have never had any problems.

Learned my lesson???

What does that have to do with them wanting a copy of my SS card? You think that's warranted EVER?
