agree and to thing back in the late 80's when my Bad Boys were owning the NBA it was my favorite. I doubt I will watch a total of 1 hour of regular season hoops BUT from gambling stanpoint I LOVE THE NBA.

95% of all NBA games aren't worth watching until the start of the 4th quarter...maybe even the 8:00 mark.
In no other sport will one team go up by a large margin, only to relinquish that lead so easily, on a regular basis.
College basketball is far more enjoyable to watch...and the first halves are actually meaningful.
The NBA game is a poor product compared to its college counterpart...and IMO, the biggest reason is the inordinate amount of stoppages of play. A team can't go on a 6-0 run in the 1st quarter without a 20 second timeout being called. Gaining and sustaining momentum is damned near impossible, whereas in college it is much easier. College coaches can't just throw their timeouts around like they're nothing.
The NBA should cut timeouts in half and make the switch to 2 halves instead of 4 quarters.
