When you take advertising from a sportsbook, and limit criticism of that book in this way, your website hurts the integrity of offshore gamling in its entirety. Whether or not you are a watchdog site, this policy hurts the players, and makes TheRX appear to be in cahoots with a criminal enterprise.

I cannot express how sad this policy, and the decline of TheRX makes me feel. Until this policy is changed, I will do the one thing I can do: stop visiting the RX, and spend my time at gambling sites that allow reasonable criticisms.

All "reasonable" criticisms will be allowed.

All "UNreasonable" will not until confirmed.

Why is this hard to comprehend and better yet, why is this so terrible?

As stated, this goes for ALL offshore sportsbooks, not just advertisers here at TheRX.

....unless The Rx. has been contacted by the principles involved
This pretty much means that their will be no discussion. First of all, very few complaints originate here compared to the total number. That in of itself will eliminate most of the valuable information to warn players. Second, books will take their time responding and it will all be aired out on other forums by then. I'm not buying that Fish or Wil bought into this and if they did its even a sadder day.

Wow. I knew the RX had gone the way of "anything for a buck" a while ago but this is a new low. The RX and especially Wilheim should be ashamed of themselves.

Guys, wil is taking the day off today, and Rick is away right now.

Im sure that the idea behind this is to prevent unsubstantiated slander, and misrepresentation. Recently some of our sponsors were being accused of cheating in their online casino. Specific claims were maid. But no emails were ever sent, it simply wasnt true.... the thread was completely unfair to the book, (wether they advertise here or not).

It is a slippery slope, rest assured, RX managment will discuss this and updates will be provided.

SS- I completely agree that when a poster just comes in here and slanders a book, that it should be handled in this fashion, but when a reputable site (especially SBR) has a report that has been substantiated, that we should be able to let people here aware of it.

Do you see it differently?

in theory I agree, of course.

in practise, it may not be so easy.... it is difficult to say something like: okay all SBR reports are okay, but TOW is not, and EOG is not, but 911 is and so on and so on.... Im sure you get what I mean?

Sometimes you have to make a blanket rule which becomes a necessary evil.

That being said, as I mentioned above, this will be clarified, wilheim is taking thursday off and will be back on Friday, and Rick is also away from the office right now.

Pretty pathetic response. Daringly is one of the most valuable posters on any gambling board.
