Not sure they can deliver a decent card this year.

No Hogan/Austin, no one cares about seeing Cena in the main event, and no one I can see that really brings that start power or any 2 guys left that could bring that "big match" Wrestlemania feel.

Plus face value of the tickets now a days is so high leaves very little room to make money. Not sure how much they are for this event but when the front seats start at $300 to $600 it is hard to make a profit off them anymore. Back when tickets were say $20-$75 you could double up easly now a days it is much harder and less demand.

Will be interesting to see what they do for a big name match. They are going to hype this big-time and will need something of Hogan-Andre proportions to fill up the Silverdome.

Seymour,
I am an investor in WWE stock as it pays one of the richest dividends on the NYSE. I certainly follow the business aspect of it.

You know what's funny? They are talking seriously about doing Hogan/Big Show to try and recapture the whole Hogan/Andre feel from Wrestlemania 3, and possibly bill it as Hogan's last match.

Aside from the fact that we've already seen that match several times before, if he tries body slamming the Big Show at his age/health right now, he's gonna break himself in half!

Over 50,000 tickets already sold breaking the live gate record with 4 or 5 months to go. Wow.

They don't do too much there that I know of. They don't hold the high school football finals there anymore as those have moved to Ford Field. I think they have some soccer, shows, etc., there and they had some drive in movies set up in the parking lot the last couple of years. I have yet to hear anything about them tearing it down and have heard it was up for auction as the city of Pontiac is finding it hard to come up with the $1.6 million annually to maintain it.
