Media tycoon Rupert Murdoch said he has no regrets about supporting the U.S. invasion of Iraq and asserted that the American death toll in the conflict was insignificant from a historical perspective.
Speaking to reporters at a conference in Tokyo, the News Corp. chief said: "The death toll, certainly of Americans there, by the terms of any previous war are quite minute.

This can be sourced in a lot of places, but for my buddy Pat, I'll use his go-to source :toast:

I agree 100%. Even one death is one too many but from a historical perspective it's relatively insignificant.

Spoken like a true big picture guy who never has even considered serving.

Spoken like a true nosepicker who hasn't bothered to look up the word 'context.'

My context and perspective come from having volunteered, having friends who still serve, and being a citizen of the country where every death in this unjust war is anything but insignificant.

You hide behind words like "context", the truth is you're nothing but a coward.

Funny how you continually attempt to personalize this debate without knowing $@#^ about @$%* where I'm concerned. My statement was in reference to Mr. Murdoch's comments:

WW I: 116,708 KIA
WW II: 407,316 KIA
Korea: 54,246 KIA
Vietnam: 58,168 KIA

for example. See? Of course not. One wouldn't expect anything different from a pencil neck geek who fancies himself, Bubba's virtual Monica.

But then, one wouldn't expect anything different from a geek who fancies himself as Bubba's virtual Monica.

And here comes the Clinton comments. The personalization you rail against is followed by your obsession with Clinton and his HETEROSEXUAL affar.

You're a non citizen (something conveniently forgotten by the foreign haters like JDEUCE and others because they envy your ability to type and post for the "cause" like a bot). You pride yourself on being a large picture guy, but refuse to even answer simple questions from posters like "are you an American or not?".

Your obsession with American policies is only surpassed by your cowardice to admit you'd never have the sack to enact the policies you defend by actually becoming a part of the force to implement them.

The only thing more laughable than your lack of credibility, is your predictions in here (both sports and political ) and your ironic disdain for the gambling community here at TheRX.

You're a coward. Go break some boards with a soccer kick.

I ignore these distracting personal questions -- period. I do not see how my life, place of birth, age, income, profession or citizenship are in any way relevant to any debate -- unless of course you count these cheap-ass tactics as way to strengthen your argument.

So you're a pus$y who won't even admit he's (assuming you're a guy) isn't even American.

Gotcha.
