After finally winning his first National Championship and restoring UNC to the glory days, he took last years team much further than anyone expected, landing a #3 seed in last years tourney, freshman Tyler Hansbrough leading the way .

A team that came into last season unranked and expected to finish down at the bottom of the ACC , after the unprecedented loss of seven players who made up the core of the team that beat Illinois

Now Carolina is back right near the top at #2 in the country, with a boat load of top recruits from all the reports, he has too much talent on one team...amazing!

Not too long ago Roy Willims was considered the guy who couldn't win the boig one, it looks like North Carolina will be the toast of the Atlantic Coast knocking Duke back into the #2 position, like old times .

My Preseason top 5

#1 Florida, although I think they will come back down to earth off that tourney run....everyone is back though, so they have to be ranked #1.

#2 North Carolina, locked and loaded, deepest crop of talent in the country.

#3 Ohio State, should be improved off last seasons surprise showing.

#4 Georgetown, the big man will lead them to the Final Four.

#5 UCLA, another deep, athletic, talented team.

North Carolina cuts down the nets in April :toast:

UNC is lined up to win a couple of National Championships over the next 4 years or so. Should be fun to watch

Which big man? Jeff Green is more valuable than Roy Hibbert.

If Roy makes another leap this year, they will be great.

Great post. For some reason, I never rooted for UNC basketball before Roy Williams but now I am big fan. This could be due to my hatred of Duke and Coack K.

Kansas has to be listed with all their returning starters.
I think Arizona will be much more cohesive without Hassan, but they still have to overcome Lute Olsen.
