Much like sports you have to have some talent, skill and a little bit of luck to catch breaks at betting and somedays if you don't put the time in and get and STAY orgainized, you end up just spinning your wheels or losing.

Last few days of been crap for me. Just can't focus. Expected to get some good bets in and NOTHING. So many oppurtunites out there with the start of CBB but not sure where to turn my attention to.

What a waste of time. I am going to the local harness track, getting a good nite sleep and then it is an all out ASSUALT on the books and the NFL tomorrow.

I find I have that problem with all that is going on right now in the sports world. It is hard to focus....and you gotta be focused.

Good luck.

I keep saying it and nobody takes it on Board but intimate Knowledge of the position of your Nuts is paramount in any type of Betting, they are Natures way of giving you an early warning system, its just People havent taken advantage of this in their Gambling. :drink:

The hangovers definately make the number crunching harder. On those days I just make my best play at the best line for $100 and take an Alka-Seltzer.

No, but some days I look down and go wow - I sure do have great lines. Unfortunately, some of those days still lose.

I'm not sure going to the harness track is the best idea for getting your focus back. Might suggest getting away from gambling all together and doing some other activity to refresh yourself.

Ice How did you do at Northville. I love that city but the track is a dump. Theres a reason that books don't take action from there. Wrenn should win a lot of races there. He outclasses all those drivers. He has great hands. Hope you have a good Sunday Ice

Weird day as I was more frustated on the lack of bets (quanity wise) than the actual results. Just expected a HUGE day quanity wise with all the sports playing.

Went to a small harness track (not Northville but Sports Creek, come on I said small) as a way to get a way and spend sometime with my girlfriend (she loves it) and bet $30 bucks a race. No stress and ended up losing a little over $100 dollar but had fun.

Came home and looked at all of my results and made the most of a very light day (15 bets) by my standards. BAM, I actually won over $400 dollars(thanks Cal Poly Slo/Portand hoops game, wow now that is gambling LOL).

Sometimes it pays to be lucky. Somedays you look down at your plays and know you just didn't make good bets and to me that is what this all about (making good bets). If you do make good bets then the rest will take care of itself.

Too each of you posters, good luck tomorrow.:toast:

here is the funny thing....On days i dont have my so called "A" game there is always a little voice in my head that pics the right fucking teams to bet on but my brain always fucks shit up with reasoning and logic and shit so i bail out of the good plays... those are the bad days but its not like my "a' game was off. It was on, but i fucking just didnt listen to it. Case an point, that little voice in my head was all but screaming that la monroe would fucking cover over, FLINT, but its was the fucking toilet bowl, so my stupid brain said, so i let that shit go by and i ended up watching la monroe win by 40 points or whatever the final score was.

Then there are the days when i am on fucking fire, until i run into that half time spread that i feel cant miss in a million years....What the fuck do i do? turn around and hit that half time spread, and it inevitably backfires..So i go off and fire off another useless play that i wouldnt have played if not for that half time wager and end up losing that one too. Now i have given back the man all the money i had made for the day.

All this with an evening play pending...now i am stuck in either a loss or even money day, counting on the late game to fucking come through...

And when i tally my shit up, my original plays without the half time chasing would have left me a unit or two up...

Its not that i didnt have my "a" game... i had it but totally fucked it up with half time plays.

I have had one of those absolutely nasty days when all your plays get blown up on a last minute touch down, or blown ref call or non call,
but i cant really say i have had a day when my "a" game was off.

For me its more like my instincts are right at the wrong time and wrong at the right time.:puppy:
