re teaers,,what #s do the books not want to come off from

ive never played a teaser and have no idea how they work(and dont care) but i need to know for purposes of understanding line movement,,why books raise juice on certain #s and on other #s just raise or lower the #,,,

With the 2 team 6-point +100 variety, you want to take a dog of +1.5- +2.5, and raise it to +7.5 - +8.5, or the opposite, so you "cross" the 3 and 7, that's the basic concept.

Never tease a small favorite and make them a small dog; i.e., tease a -4 fave to a +2 dog. You are only crossing one key number (the 3).

Because ties never happen, the number 0 is useless, which renders either 0.5 or -0.5 useless as well. So if you cross 0 with a 6-point tease, you're really only teasing 5 points
