That would be me.

I broke into the Las Vegas sportsbook business at the famous "HOLE IN THE WALL CASTAWAYS" and Tommy was the assistant manager under Sonny Reizner at the time and later we broke in the Sante Fe Sportsbook together.

Hope all is well with Tommy, as I know he was experiencing some health problems a few years ago.

Stories of Tommy are legendary in the industry, and he was/is one of the most respected and legendary employees to EVER work behind a counter of a Vegas sportsbook.

Didn't Tommy work at Palace Station around 98 or 99? He is a great guy. Not too many like him in the biz.

For a very short time as I recall......my memory is leaving me.

I worked alongside T.R. for 2 years at the Castaways and 1.5 years at the Sante Fe.

Hey Fish what is JIMMY Vacarro doing now??

Basically retired ......but he always seems to come up with a short lived gig for awhile somewhere.

He may be working somewhere currently, just don't know.

He has many friends on this forum that will be able to give you a better answer than me.

Jimmy is a "consultant" for Leroy's. Would be surprised if he got another book gig in town. Ok, shocked.
