I realize this is a contestants-only thread, and I'm not trying to make this play count in this contest or anything...buuuuut...

Any of you who want to load up on Michigan on the money line for Saturday, go for it. It's one of my strongest plays in a while; UM's defense is the best in the country and will give the Bucks offense a rude awakening.

Cuss, do you think since a win against Miss. St. clinches the SEC Western Division title for Arkansas it will make them focus?
I'm liking Arkansas but there's a lot of sandwich talk.

JR, always a tough spot going on the road with everything to lose. Miss St is playing much better, so the Hogs can NOT afford to be unfocused. LSU next week looms as the toughest opponent on the schedule.

I'd say Nutt will have em pumped and ready to get the job done. McFadden is in a zone and Casey Dick has really been strong the last 2 weeks. I hate laying so much chalk. 1stH play might be the way to go.

I don't think either scenario is possible.

OSU v ND won't happen. If Michigan loses on Saturday, both UM and ND have one loss. How in the world could anyone rank ND ahead of UM when UM absolutely pasted ND in South Bend earlier this year? Not gonna happen.

For that same reason, there will likely be no rematch in the title game. ND would need to hope for OSU to lose to UM by a lot (hey, I'm all for it!), and then also to leapgfrog USC (by beating them) and Florida to lose another game in the SEC. Besides, I don't think voters would give ND another shot at Michigan when they already lost to them on their home field....why would they deserve a chance on a neutral field?

Can't wait for the big game on Saturday. I'm heading up to the Venetian or Caeser's....whichever looks better to me when I scout them on Friday night.

I say bullchit, but that's the computer! Hogs at present, haven't played as many "winning" teams as the above. They only have 3 wins over better than .500 teams--Florida has 7, USC has 6, and ND has 3 also.

But, throw in 2 more wins over a top 11 (LSU) and top 5 (Florida) and the Hogs will have 4 wins over Top 15 teams and one loss (to the condoms). (2-1 vs Top 5 at the time).....and 5 total wins over >.500 opponents.....

1. Hogs have to win all 3 games
2. USC has to lose to either; Cal, UCLA, or ND
3. ND has to lose once more

Still a longshot as they have to win all three of their games. Plus the 3 cupcake games we scheduled (UT St, LA-Monroe, and SEMO) hurt us.
Florida and LSU are tough with a capital T. Need to get defense healthy. Good news is LSU game is in Little Rock, where Nutt and Co. are phenominal.

Win all 3 of our games, including beating FL then it's likely the Sugar, perhaps for the Runner up prize? Lose to FL, then it's the Orange, Rose, or Fiesta.
I'd love to see our boyz get another shot at the USC condoms. :banger:

Nice to have a dream at least.
