Here is an example of what I think Blue is talking about.

Wait until the Redlands-CSUN final comes in Bullets. Will make that VMI game look defensive.

Redlands is one of the more exciting teams to watch. I'd be surprised if Northridge comes within 50 of their total tonight the rest of the year.

VMI is no longer an added team, otherwise they might have some interesting totals.

I know this is a little off your topic, but I heard some talking head on sportscenter saying that because really good players are jumping from high school to the NBA, logic dictates that there will be more teams like George Mason, etc. What are your thoughts about that?

g...seafood sharpens the mind. you grew up in the restaraunt business...you should know that. i know its not a fruit smootie but...

anyway, after the seafood salad was completely digested, in a moment of clarity i realized that ace-ace was wrong and sick gambler was right. hence, the post.

the only guy who could talk me out of my position is jj gold and he is nowhere to be found. so, i am sticking to my guns.

good luck to you all.

Uh you are late on that one. The kids have to go to college now for at least a year until they are 19 and there is talk of upping that to 20. It most likely means the big boys will be much tougher this year because all these guys who were going to go pro are going to big name schools because they figure if they have to play in college for a year, might as well play somewhere that showcases their talent. Places like Duke and UNC won't take these kids too often though, its really going to be about going to the teams who play Duke and UNC. Lower level teams in big conferences are going to go after big-time talents and say come play with us for a year, you'll start and be on TV all you can ask for.

Only recently has a so-called Law of averages been accepted by the Mathmatical fraternity and only through pressure from Off-Shore Books to accomodate bad Beat Yanks. Prior to this there was no such thing, only a Law of Probability which doesnt take in hard luck Stories. :drink:

Thank you for the info. I know some of the guys on ESPN are idiots, I didn't think he was making any sense, but I am new convert to college hoops. Have been a football fan for years, but only started on b-ball a couple years age. You were very gentle with my ignorance, I appreciate it. Good luck this weekend. :toast:

Thank you. I appreciate all the help I can get and you seem to know what you are talking about. Between you and Chief (aka Illini) I don't see how I can go wrong. Thanks again and good luck to you too.

oh you can go wrong...you can go very wrong. the law of averages will probably get you...the same way it has about 98% of the people who try to defy it.
