What's the easiest way to clear a bonus rollover requirement?

I need to bet 3x my bonus amount at bodog sportsbook. Should I bet it all on a -1100 prop (if they even offer it), or just make lots of really small bets over a long period of time?

If they offer those "Will the game go into overtime (-1100)?" props that pinnacle offers, I am thinking I could just find a really lopsided matchup, bet it all on "No overtime, " and cash out.

Normally I don't do this, but I got lucky and tripled my bonus by winning a nice hand in poker, and I want to withdraw it as fast as possible.

My guess is that with a wager like that, the only amount that will count towards your rollover requirement is your winnings. So if you were to wager 1100 to win 100, 100 would be applied. On a ML underdog, your wager amount would count towards it.

Your best bet if you need to get it out quick? Scalping, or middling for as close to a breakeven as possible. Yeah, maybe you lose a bit, but you keep most of your bonus, once the rollover is complete.

Find something you like to lose at Bodog, bet balance on it ( if small enough), bet the side you think will win elsewhere, hopefully with some kind of a middle shot. If you win, money is now transfered to other book, it costs some vig. If bodog side wins, you did 1X of rollover.

Holy crap. I can't believe I didn't think of that. It's so simple.

Thanks dude!

OK, I'm not the best at math. Will placing these two bets guarantee that I don't pay any juice?

New Orleans Saints -3.5 (even) at bodog and
Cincinatti Bengals +3 (even) at sportsbook.com.

I'm worried about the half point discrepancy. Are there any scenarios where I could get screwed over? Like I said, math is not my strong suit.

Don't do that. If it lands on 3, -3.5 loses and +3 pushes.

You either want identical numbers or an overlap (middle), which would be -3 and +3.5. If the fav wins by 3, you push AND win.

You need something where the +points exceed the -points, preferably not a dead number like +9.5, -9 in NFL. If no strong opinion game, then do it with CBB, there has to be something at least .5 points off of Bodog and wherever.

Juice exceeds value here, but gets rollover or transfer, which is I guess the goal ?

I'm not taking up arbitrage or anything... this is a one time deal. I just get confused betting on the two different teams like this.

I've made a lot of money betting on sports and playing poker, and I'm not about to quit now. Just don't feel like playing the rollover bonus... sheesh.

The bet it all on both sides thing is something I use a lot for bonuses, you made a mistake, I'll help you if I can, but not to the point of telling you bet this or that team. I haven't used Bodog in months, my lines probably different from them than you get, I'm more theory, general advice to help a newer guy.

Nobody starts with experience, you learn along the way.

Thanks dude. That's all I needed was a push in the right direction. Now you gave me a rule of thumb, I see the angle, and I'm off.

I just had a mental block at first.

wsex has FREE juice on ncaa hoops right now...its good for another 6days or so...

bet a game at wsex (it also nice they are an A+ rated shop like bodog) and bet the other side at bodog (again look for maybe a 1/2pt in your favor also)....if the side at bodog wins you rolled over a % of your account and it didnt cost you any juice...

or you could bet both sides so no matter what you only lose 5% of the wager...instead of the 10%

ie: wsex 105 for 105
bodog 110 for 100 then u only lose the 5%

bc of the wwts thingy with bodog i have to roll over around 1200 at bodog if i dont wanna lose the 10% bonus...i think im gonna do that on saturday...

thanks... i already placed a bet by the time i read this.

ok, for the 2nd half i got:

Golden State +2 at sportsbook and
Sacramento -1.5 at bodog.

in the off chance Sacramento wins this half by 2, i will push my sportsbook bet and win my bodog bet. :toast:

Otherwise, I will lose the juice and clear about 3/4 of my rollover bonus which is fine. Actually, sportsbook gave me a 10% reload bonus and i can withdraw that after betting it all...so I should be good.
