Does anyone know if there is a particular site that may host live blogs for games, college and pro? I would love me some of that.

This guy is a homer but does a great job at

http://uhfootball.blogspot.com/

Anyone know if this is common for most sports or are blogs for LIVE play by play during the game rare?

I wonder if they are legal? Probably not.

Sportsline has them (at least for some games) - I think they refer to them as "glogs"

But those lag in time quite a bit compared to the live blogs posted by private bloggers following a game on the radio or TV.

The major sports scores sights really seem to lag....

This guy is within 30 seconds of events, I believe.
