When I saw this thread, thought it was going to be an Iowa selection,LOL. I like Bama in this one. Way too much for Iowa especially this early in the season. When you get a chance, take a look at my thread regarding Mizzou today. They are playing a double payback revenge game vs Davidson who has beaten them handily 2 years in a row with Mizzou under Quin Snyder. This is a big game for Anderson with the Alumni as like next 3 or 4 opponents have all beaten Mizzou last couple of years with Quin at helm. Their style of play with the 40 minutes of hell will not be suitable to how Davidson likes to play. Mizzou , though, they have played no one, has won all 4 games this year by double digits. Anderson has chance to become first ever head basketball coach at Mizzou today to start 5-0. This looks like a real big blowout for Mizzou. Any thoughts?

Fishead I follow every move of this Alabama basketball team and It will be the best team perhaps that Alabama has ever had. However their best inside player and 2nd best player "Jemareo Davidson" might miss the game. His Girlfriend died in a car wreck(he was in the car with her) and he missed the game Friday and flew in and joined the team yesterday but due to his mental state he may not play today(according to coach Gottfried or if he does,he may be ineffective.Put a gun to my head and I think we still cover but -6.5 is not as good as it sounds.

I have seen Iowa play in person and on TV. Very average. My nephew goes to Mankato St./Minnesota D-2. He was in IC for a FB game and watched the Hawks practice and concluded that Mankato St. would drill them. They have beaten The Citadel who is awful and Toledo with no starter over 6'6". Hawks are in a major rebuilding year. 12-14 wins would be unreal. They lose today by 12-15. Long time and die hard Hawk fan it pains me to say the above.

I like Iowa and the points. Iowa will always be a tough out as they recruit players who play hard nosed D. Alford always seems to have pesonal who can knock down the 3. I'm thinking this will be a very close game.
