As it should be...Michigan loses to the undisputed #1 in their house, by 3 points, whereas USC's loss is dreadful.

Doesn't matter casue USC plays twice more and that would be more than enough to be 2nd IF they win both...

I believe there's a good chance you will see a rematch, if ND beats USC. Florida could lose to FSU, not likely, or Arkansas in the SEC championship.

LSU could slide in to the Rose Bowl to play LSU. If LSU loses to ARK, they're in the cotton.

Rematch: OSU vs. Michigan

Orange: ND vs. UF/ARK

Perfect! Lose Lose for the BCS. Hopefully Florida and USC finish unscathed and Ohio State destroys Michigan in title game ala the last two times a team was rewarded with a national title invite after losing their last game.

They will have serious problems promoting this game anywhere but in Big 10 country.

Brock, I agree. Notre Dame is the media darlings, along with USC. They are NOT a good football team. They would have several losses in the SEC.

Then who goes to the Rose Bowl if we have a rematch?

Do they just not get a Big Ten team this year?

Pleae, please please. Rematch would be a slap in the face to both Big 10 teams. For those teams, yesterday was their entry game to championship game. Is it possible Ohio St and Mich two best teams? Most certainly yet yesterday was the head to head for all the marbles for each of these teams, otherwise the winner (Ohio ST) played for nothing.

1971 NU and OU were miles ahead of the field. Auburn and Bama were both undefeated and played 2 days after NU beat OU 35-31 in Norman. OU crushed Auburn in Sugar and NU crushed Bama in Orange with Col crushing Hou in Blubonnet bowl to give Big 8 1-2-3 in final rankings. The Martians knew how much better the Huskers and Sooners were than any other team in country. In addition, you don't win conf , you don't play for national champ no matter what. I'm a diehard Husker fan and what happenned in 20000 should never happen.

I find it funny that people against a playoff say every game late in the season is a playoff. Yet Michigan lost their playoff and has a very good chance to go.

Something needs to be done for a playoff. Hopefully someone with a backbone will do something bold and strong.

Nothing bold needs to be done. The only thing that is needed is the 4 winners of the big bowls play off. Number 1 plays number 4 and number 2 plays number 3. The 2 winners play for all the marbles. That makes all the big bowls really important and would result in 3 more games and a S-it pot full of $$$$.

yeah but how do we get to that point unless something bold is done. Hopefully Michigan will go over USC and the SEC and gets blown out. Maybe someone from the SEC or USC will do something bold and lead us to a playoff.

Yeah hard to imagine anyone tuning in to watch the BCS Championship game on Jan 8th...

The whole world will be watching Nova at Gtown and then Bob Knight vs Bob Huggins...
