its not for 6 weeks but something to keep in mind during bowl season.

10* forrest griffen over keith jardine.
this is a tune up title fight for griffen as he will fight liddell/ortiz winner. no line comes out for undercard fights til week of event but for me im unloading as much as possible on griffen. crowd will definitely be pro-griffen and he handles jardine with relative ease.

I'm all over Tito Ortiz. Should be able to get over 2 to 1. Like the revenge factor. Liddell will be solid favorite but i believe he's beatable.

im on ortiz as well and yes you can get him at pinny at +221. solid and very underrated dog in this fight imo.

Jardine is a solid fighter but I don't think him or Forrest have legit KO power and if it goes to the cards like Forrest's fights tend to do, it won't matter what Jardine just did because they'll give it to Forrest no matter what.

What's the line though? At -400 or so I'm not touching it.

I'm toally with Tito over Lidell, however I am a little concerned for Chuck contract...somehow I feel they want him still to be champion at least for anouther bout....

Speaking of Lidell...I thought he was suppose to fight Wanderli Silva

First of all,Tito can NOT stand up with Chuck like he did last fight. He's not an idiot, so I assume he learned his lesson and will try to take him down asap. But can he do it? Chuck is probably the best anti-grappler in the fight game. He uses the (failed) takedown attempt as a chance to counter strike and he connects more often than not. Eventually his opponents get tired and frustrated and Chuck takes them out. That said, Tito is incredibly strong, and if he can drive Chuck to the fence so he can't sprawl, he might have a shot. If he gets Chuck on his back with time to work, he'll win. If not, well, let's just say Tito is not known for having a great chin.

Personally I've bet against Chuck and lost too many times, so I'll probably just watch this one.

I agree.

Chuck's take down defense great because he was a wrestler. He has mega knockout power but if Tito manages to take Chuck to the ground, some ground and pound might do Chuck in. Honestly, I haven't seen Chuck down there in a long time...he's usually knocking you out while you're trying to take him down. Can't wait for him to fight Wanderlei Silva.:thumbsup2:

Remember, it's been awhile since Chuck has done this but even if you can take him down, he's so strong he just stands right back up. If Couture couldn't keep him down I don't see Tito doing it unless Chuck gets old in a hurry.

Chuck punches you even when you go for the takedown. Something you should look out for though. His birthday is coming soon and knowing Chuck, he partys like a madman and will probably be hungover for like a week. Being this close to the actual fight, it could affect his training. Unless of course, he doesn't party on his birthday. But that's not Chuck. :puppy:

griffen line is out and very, very low in my opinion
griffen -266. i was figuring i was going to have to lay -350 or better. christ if anyone remembers stephen bonnar was a -371 against jardine. this is going to pay out better than expected. there really is a santa claus. oh and i agree 100% with jake thompsons theory. if this goes to the cards griffen wins regardless of jardine does. jardine imo beat bonnar but judges gave to bonnar anyway..gl.

well, looks like i`ll have to be the turd in the punchbowl....

i caught liddell at a smidge over 2-1 and i`m on him pretty substantially(for me)....

i`m not impressed with ortiz` wins over "ken the sham"-rock...maybe 10 years ago they would be solid wins....split decisions vs over rated vitor belfort and forrest griffin....and he beat patrick cote (a guy to whom wrestlers are like wolfsbane to lon chaney..see travis lutter)....

and he probably lost to griffin.....he was utterly gassed late and couldn`t take griffin down.... couldn`t....and the desision was roundly booed....

hmmm?...couldn`t take griffin down?....i think he`s gonna have trouble with liddell....

styles make fights....and liddell`s style is tough for tito...tito has 2 subs...both basically chokes.....so he`s not a submission guy...

he`s going to have to either take chuck down and pound him....or beat him standing up.....

if he takes him down and keeps him down,i`ll pay the man...if he beats chuck on his feet.....i`ll gladly pay the man...

granted,chuck is 36( don`t forget that tito`s 32 in january)......but,chuck doesn`t take much punishment...his fights are rarely on the ground...they`re usually tactical stand-up fights.......his fights aren`t physically taxing...and he doesn`t take much punishment...

the last time chuck took a beating was vs brute quinton jackson, who beat chuck at his own game...

huge lt. heavy alistair overeem gave chuck trouble in pride,too.....both guys came at liddell .....HARD...from the jump.......and liddell likes to take his time...be patient....i think his patience unnerves his opponents...

both jackson and overeem took chances....it worked for rampage...chuck caught overeem....

if tito stands outside and plays chuck`s game....being patient...waiting for the right moment to go for the takedown...he should lose badly....chuck will pick him apart,imo...i actually thought that sobral had the right idea...but he was out of control....

he has to go balls to the wall...take chances....try to take chuck down as quickly as possible....because the longer they stay on their feet, the more tito`s confidence will wane.....

if tito beats chuck on his feet,i`ll come back and apologize for wasting everyone`s time....and my own money...

i`m also playing a parlay....arlovski/bisping and gomi in pride(a dangerous fight, but, gomi`s been profitable for me).....lay 1 to get back 1.15.....

g.l. on everything but tito,guys....

Agree on this very nice take

Tonight I like:

Liddell
Griffen
and for an underdog going back to:

Jason McDonald. That guy really impressed me in his last fight. great submissions, tough. Step up in competition but I think he should be in way better shape than Lebon. If he makes it past the first round flurry he should outlast him.

thanks...but unfortunately,i saw the weigh-ins last night......and liddell looked gaunt....and emaciated.....i`d heard that tito had been feeling ill...to me,chuck looked like he`d just gotten past a bad bout with e-coli.......

tito did take griffin down but couldn`t g& p him out....

i hope chuck can re-hydrate....tito looked much bigger....tito`s head is soooo big....i think it has it`s own solar system....

the leben odds are dropping faster than a stool from a tall cow`s ass.....i`m looking at macdonald....but,all this money flowing in on him is scaring me....
