i mean, that cab was mangled. the front end was about 75% gone. ambulances were all over the place...not sure if anyone died but, somebody had to be hurt pretty bad.

anyway, it got me to thinking...do you ever even consider buckling up when you hop in a cab? i never do. going to the airport or leaving a bar or restaurant in the city...i just hop in and give the guy an address. it never even crosses my mind that this guy could get me killed, quite easily considering how some of these maniacs drive.

so, take it from your saftey advisor, blue edwards...buckle up at all times.

we're looking out for you.

Agreed, so many people don't buckle up in cabs; and cab drivers are some of the most reckless drivers in the world from my experiences. Granted, they are "professional drivers," but damn I have had some white-knuckled cab rides before.

ALWAYS buckle up!

While we're tossing out PSA's, would everyone do their best to not become one of the hundreds of people who manage to burn their houses to the ground trying to deep fat fry a turkey.

my sisters roommate in manhattan is an aspiring model/nyu student and a taxi driver stopped real fast and her nose slammed into the plastic thing separating the driver/backseat which broke her nose and was bleeding real bad and everything

cost her some work, she consulted with a lawyer but there was this shit where she couldnt sue the company only the driver and they couldnt find the driver or some shit Im not sure the details

but ya, buckle up especially if ur a model

NEVER sit in the front seat.

instant death wish.

also, most cabs are "fishing" and will stop on a dime, take up a whole lane and put everyone in danger.

I can't help but think back to Old School, when Luke Wilson's character hops in the taxi cab near the beginning of the movie. "My seatbelt is broken, what do you suggest I do?" driver-"I suggest you stop being a faggo t"
I always laugh at that

How can you call cabbies maniacs? Fishhead drove one in Vegas and I drove one in Chicago
