I just wanted to warn people about VIP Sportsbook. I was sent an email on Wednesday offering me $100 as a Thanksgiving bonus. I went on their live chat and gave them my account number to make sure I qualified. The customer service rep said I did indeed qualify. The person told me that if I deposited $200 I would get a $200 bonus. So I made the deposit and sent their customer service department an email. (As I was told to do). An hour later I still not had received my bonus. So I went on live chat again and gave them my info. I was told they had a lot of emails they were going through and my bonus should be credited in an hour. Well it never happened. So the next morning I checked my balance and still no bonus. So I go back on live chat and am told that I do not qualify for the bonus because my balance shows a lifetime profit. I told them that is why I checked with them before making my deposit. There is absolutely no excuse for the way this situation was handled. They were able to find my chat history and said they would address their agent that chatted with me. I asked them if we could agree on a $100 bonus. (since that is what the original email offer was). They came back and offered me 10%. I told them I would take whatever they would give me. I also told them that they should be honoring what they told their customer. I explained to them it was the supervisor's fault as much as the agent on the chat. They obviouslly have a training problem that should be addressed. So the bottom line is BE VERY CAREFUL of VIP. If they send you a bonus offer and even if you are told you qualify they might deny you once they get your money.

All of the bonuses are just on what clerk you get. monthly reloads are supposed to be same way. sometimes i get it sometimes i dont. I am not supposed to but always give it a shot.

That's what pissed me off. They admitted that the clerk gave me the wrong information, yet they did not do the correct thing and honor what I was told. I was even willing to meet them half weay and they refused. They thought saving $80 was more important than me sharing this experience with the forums. BTW did you happen to save the chat? Either way since they admitted it I would contact the guys over at SBR, they might can broker a deal if you are still interested in playing there. Then if the situation stays unchanged you can then post about it there as well. No better info to be had than that gained by other gamblers.
I eamiled Bill Dozier already. I did not save the chat. They don't email you a copy of it like some books do. They did admit that they had it. I plan on warning people at SBR and across the street. I told VIP I was going to do this. That is when they told me to hold for 10 minutes. Then they came back and offered me 10%.Patrick McIrish said:

Those are two recreatonal books (just as VIP is) that know a lot when it comes to customer service.
It must have been your first time depositing. The person I talked to on the live chat was very friendly and helpful. He looked up my account number and told me I did indeed qualify for the promotion.
