In-Game Betting. More advantageous to the bettor?

It seems that with in-game wagering, the bettor has an advantage as during the game a team might of just got into the opponents redzone, the line still might be listed the same as when the team was at their own 20.

Or like last nights basketball game, Dallas had a 6 pt lead with 4 and a half minutes left in the game, the line was -180. Although this wasn't an easy win for Dallas, it seems that a 6 pt lead with 4 something left in the game is a good wager at -180.

Anyone consistently make money using in-game wagering?

Thanks.

FWIW, there's different forms of live betting... some books just keep the closing lines up during play and others put up new spreads/totals as play progresses.

Off the top of my head:

WSEX
Pinnacle
Matchbook
Betfair
Bet365

Lots of UK/Gibraltar books offer it, but most aren't open to US customers.

thanks for the quick reply.

Pinny?

thought they had stopped it..

they have it throughout the game now, or at the end of quarters, etc?

Their game selection is pretty limited in regards to live betting - they do a couple of games here and there.

In baseball, they only allow betting between half-innings. In foots and hoops, lines are up for 1-2 minutes at a time, taken down for a couple of seconds after a big play, updated, put up again, etc. all throughout the game.

You have to be pretty quick to get good live numbers at Pinny - they change incredibly fast. I always pre-fill the amount box and I've got my password entered automatically, so I'm able to place the wager in about 2 seconds.

How bout the other night when total was sitting at 48 with 5 or so minutes left and they had under 51.5 +175 T Bay game the only way you could have lost game was if Parcells wanted to shake Vanderjact out of his slump and thats reason i believe they posted that line but they thought wrong!!:drink:
