I figured most of you guys here were wondering who would take over the program in Ames, so here is the news. I think it is a good pick for the Cyclones....................

AMES, Iowa -- Sources at Iowa State University said that Gene Chizik, currently defense coordinator at the University of Texas, will be the next head football coach at Iowa State University.

My two cents,I thought I heard Brian Kelly from Central Michigan got the job but I might be wrong.

That was the rumor going around...but it wasn't true.
