I have pretty close to "full confidence" that my money is safe with sportsbooks again.

I recently pulled all of my money out of all of my accounts, except Pinnacle.

I will be starting new accounts and get back to line shopping within the next week or so. Wanted to see if anything has changed, and get some input as to what sportsbooks are a MUST in my arsenal.

I'm not funding 10 different accounts. 3 would be ideal. But I'll go as many as 5.

So what is everyone's top 5 sportsbooks?

Not top 5 in terms of the best books. I want 5 books that make a well-rounded line shopping arsenal.

I want:

1. Reliable sportsbooks with no poor history. Lightning fast payouts, etc. (Pinnacle)
2. A good underdog book
3. A good favorite book
4. A good wildcard book, like a good bonus book or with good props or something
5. Good teaser book
etc

No crazy betting exchanges and all sorts of shit that I dont want to learn

Seems like Cascade is a good book.

How about skybook? They still doing free half points?

5 dimes seems good?

"Learning" the exchanges take about 5 minutes to do. We know you're sharp enough to be able to do it. Assuming you're a traditional sides player, not having one of the exchanges in your arsenal is a BIG mistake.

I can live with 5 minutes.

So is matchbook an exchange or are we talking more like betbug? or are they the same thing?

Matchbook and Mansion are your top two exchanges. Once you go and do it a few times, you'll be just fine. Especially if you're just accepting the offers that are presently available and not making offers of your own. MANY people just accept offers like they were betting at a traditional sportsbook.

You'll be fine. Plenty of us here to guide you through it. Once you learn it, you'll wonder how you made it without them.

To answer your other questions, I'd say (in order of your questions):

1. Pinnacle, which you already have.
2. BoDog or SIA depending on how much you play.
3. Cascade
4. Olympic
5. Don't play teasers, so I don't have much to suggest there.

Good luck and welcome back into the pool. Water is nice and warm.

i used to have the greek because they have great college baseball lines

they usually had -20 cent juice on a lot of things though :puke1:

It's looking like:

Pinny
Matchbook
Cascade
5 Dimes
Greek

Pinny and CRIS are practically interchangeable arent they?

(as you can tell i dont know a lot about all of the different sports books)

i used to have

CRIS at one point
Pinny
Greek
Betonsports (was a great underdog book, all of their lines were overinflated for the favorites)

I don't like CRIS to tell you the truth.. Don't know why just don't

I'm not a huge fan of CRIS, although they will put up college hoops totals earlier than most. -110 juice, free WD on Fridays only (up to $2.5k). Not much in the way of props if that's your thing. Can get down a boatload of money there though without problems. They do put up horse matchups, so I personally like that.

If I had to choose between the two, Pinny hands down. Not even close in my estimation.

I like how things are going now with my 3 top books being Pinny, Cascade, and Matchbook. I also have some money in numerous other books for scalping, middling, different overnights, bonus whoring, etc but the majority of the BR is in those 3. Once baseball comes around again I'll throw some money in 5Dimes for their overnights and a bit more into BetJamaica.

hope this helps, gl

-About 1,000 rubber room posts

dont make my way around the offshore forum much, and i dont get involved in many "the future of gambling", "laws of gambling", "which sportsbooks are best" and "general sports betting theory" threads

MATCHBOOK is unquestionably my #1 book at the current time.

EVERY damn poster here at theRX should have an account there.........anyone that doesn't is simply doing this as a "hobby" more or less.

For teasers and parlays there's not a better book around than BetPOP a First Fidelity company.
