Anyone with any updates on which books currently offer debits cards as a means of transferring money?? Was hoping beyond hope BetJamaica would introduce a new one, but that doesn't seem to be the case. First Fidelity also offered one for a very short time, but I believe that is now a thing of the past. I honestly expected the Debit Card to be the wave of the future......maybe I was wrong.
The problem standing in the way of all sportsbooks offering these Debit Cards is the cost that must be absorbed by the Book. Not many customers know of these hidden fees (think neteller monthly fees)
Sportsbooks can handle absorbing the 1-3% transaction fees for most deposits. Debit cards however, carry a $2-$4 monthly maintenance fee whether the customer uses it or not. So imagine a sportsbook sending out 50 000 debit cards to their customers and having to pay $3 a month on all of them, on top of other fees that come with it.
I think books that cater mostly to proffesionals will have them (as the avg dollar balance of their customers would justify the nominal maintenance fee. Large depositors at recreational books may also be offered them.

CRIS puts up a lot of hurdles. If you're an existing player and you've used other deposit methods then you have to first withdraw to the extent of deposits using that method first before using the debit card at all. In other words, if you're a lifetime loser there, you can't use the debit card.
