What happens when you report a post as abusive?

Looks like we have a bunch of grade school kids here posting crap in posters threads. It seems to me that TTinCO made a point that we are losing good posters due to this. A poster gets a good record and the kiddies start posting crap, then the original poster of the thread gets mad and leaves.

What happens when a post done by a grade schooler is reported using the

button? Is the post removed? Is the poster banned?

I have had very few times I have had to use the button, but it was always dealt with quickly. Just my experience.

We get emailed a link to the thread(and mop up as needed). Are we missing something? (Email can be flaky at times)

Pretty sure Don has split. Damn shame too as it is/was the finest thread on here. I guess the whole concept was too much for the kiddies to grasp.

q-leap did all he could to save that particular thread but like a runaway train there was just no stopping it, i never cluttered it up but it was one of the more informative thus far in the nfl season, i fear as well that don has abandoned the thread if not the whole fcuking site!!

Post a stern warning.....then lock it.....then RR it or clean it up.....it "was" a great and informative thread! jm.02
