Sounds like he started it with his comments............which were dead on by the way.

Exactly and she reported it. There was no spin by the reporter.

His rant is retarded. "So ESPN now listens to WFAN......I see." :WTF:

This is embarrassing. He's calling out a woman reporter and doing a bad job of it.

At least she didn't back down to his nutty-ness.

Love you Fat Tony, but you don't know the whole story.
She got her information second hand, (Strahan did a show on WFAN with Joe Beningno) who very mildly alluded to Plaxico 'quitting' on the tackle on Pac-Man.
The reporter, like I mentioned, got that story from an ESPN colleague who heard Beningno's interview, went to Coughlin, asking in a 'stir the pot tone' "What do you think of Strahan's comments about Plax, etc. etc. and told Naqi, "it's a non issue, there's nothing to this 'story' (or something to that effect).

Not satisfied, Naqi went to Plax and said "hey, did you hear what Strahan said about you (again in a 'stir the pot' tone).

Naqi is like 23 years old, and from what I hear, will do anything to put her name on the map, and tried to start shit for that reason.

Tony, look at the end of the interview again, Strahan was restrained.
Once you know the whole story, you'll see why Strahan was pissed.
I don't blame him.

his voice reminds me of the boxer on the Simpsons. He doesn't convince me when he says "We are men" in his lisp voice.

I love you too, but I don't know what she did wrong. He said this on the show in regard to Burress:

"It's a shame," Strahan said on the radio Monday. "You can't give up. You can't quit, because you're not quitting on yourself, you're quitting on everybody. I don't quite understand what his lack of motivation is in those types of situations. But I'm going to try to see what it is, and if I can talk to him about it. He's too good for that."

So she asked Burress about these comments. What's wrong with that? She's a reporter.

What she did wrong was the way she went about getting the story.
She was going out of her way to start shit. (like I said, she's an ambitious newbie from what I hear, and will do anything to make a name for herself.
Her line of questioning was out of order is what I was trying to say.

If she hadn't pursued this she wouldn't be doing her job. Strahan, from what I hear, is genuinely liked by the NY press. This was out of character for him.

I loved it. I love it when the players talk shit back to reporters. Most of these writers know nothing about sports and love to take cheap shots at players. Then the players give it back to them and they back away like they are being attacked. Most of them attack the players in their columns.

Big thumbs up to Strahan here

I loved it when ozzie guillen called jay mariotti a ***. This still kills me. And you are right patswin most reporters have a below average IQ when it comes to the sports they cover

But Strahan is the a-hole who started this crap!!!! It's stupid. He's mad at the reporter for reporting what he said.

I see Stahan's point, even if I do not agree with how he went about voicing it.
Players see themsevles as personalities and entertainers, but forget the impact of there words and actions. He was wrong to say Plax quit on the radio, he should have said that in person. Players need to learn to respond to reporters questions as if they were on the stand, just yes or no, or "that is not a question".

The reporter's question had little validity. Is it really a story if they had spoken yet, offense and defense normally have little to no interaction.

Reporter "Have you talked to Plax yet "
Stahan "Yes"

Reporter (real question) "Do you believe comments like yours, barber's and shockey's have created a diviseness that have undermined this team?"
