I am assuming this is a Super Bowl prediction....if they did meet in the SB, I would make the line New England -7

I thought about maing it 8 but after thining about New England's average defense and poor secondary I felt that 7 was more reasonable on a neutral field...

Brees and those WR would have a field day vs that secondary...the Patriots defense is average at best with the injuries.

Well more than likely it will be Dallas or Chicago...the AFC isn't as far ahead as they were, look back over the last few yrs even hen everyone thought the NFC was so inferior, we all know Seattle covered last yr and played them straight up...Philly the year before....

Every AFC team has a hole or two, there's just more quality in the AFC but no dominating team though IMO.

Yes, the AFC seems to be getting more and more dominant.

I disagree, the AFC seemed more dominant 3-4 years ago...atleast at the top, overall they're better but not that much at the top.

Brian Greise just might be the better option at QB for Chi over Rex 'throw it up deep and pray' Grossman .

I dont think the AFC is getting better. In fact I think the AFC is getting worse, but the gap between them and the NFC is still getting bigger, even thou the AFC as a whole is in decline. I agree with you 100% that the AFC was better 3 years ago. But the NFC is getting even more patetic than it was 3 years ago.

This can only mean one thing, the NFL as a whole is getting worse.

After thinking more about the public perception that would impact this game, I would make NE -9.5 and pound the Saints!

NE is thought of as one of the best franchises in the NFL currently , while the Saints have always been known as the team with the fans with bags on their heads...

Similar to Pittsburgh being incorrectly favored last year by that many points the uniforms here would dictate a line close to double digits.

I by mistake ran this thread too early. This thread is more than a month old.

Now that we are only 2 weeks away from the game and its more in our sights, what do you guys think the line is going to be on the SAINTS/PATS game?

Im thinking PATS -5
