Last I checked they spanked Penn St and they are going to a bowl. They beat Michigan at Ann Arbor last year at the beginning of the season too. Probably Weis' fault they didn't beat USC at home too.

Mark May is and always will be a Notre Dame hater. I can't remember one positive thing he's said about the school. He is completley slighted.

As usual, ND lovers will be lovers, haters will be haters. Whatever floats your boat.

PSU did not beat a quaility team all yr(also dont play the "they are going to a bowl game" card, there are a ton of bowl games, all u have to be is 6-6 to go bowling, its a joke.) They beat michigan in ann arbor last yr, so what? did you see what michigans record was last yr???

damn Fair i was at that game too, great times...stole a beer pong table while i was there as well haha. And I'll be in the 'Bend for another few weeks, probably until the 3rd week of December but I'll get in touch before I take off, another night at 'Backer might be in order.

Michigan's one glaring loss last year was to Minnesota 23-20 and Minny played out of their minds from what I recall. Losing at Wisconsin during Alvarez' last year? that's understandable. losing to OSU and ND? Yup, understandable. and the Nebraska bowl game was very well played.

If you are gonna post a chart to support your argument, at least get the year right. ND beat Michigan at Ann Arbor in 2005, not 2004. Weiss wasn't even there in 2004.

It is hard to believe that the eventual SUGAR BOWL CHAMPIONS would not even make the pre-season rankings.

My bad, I see it's the preseason 2005 ranking, and I was the one that was retarded. But they did finish like 7-5 that year, and were nothing special. I hate Notre Dame, but I like Charlie. Maybe I'll grow to hate them less.

considering many of the 'experts' predicted a tough first year for Weis...having many quality wins (not necessarily huge wins), and not starting the season 0-6, as May predicted...not sure why he would be one to criticize ND for not having any marquee wins, when he thought they were dirt to begin w/...as evidenced below:

Mark May has never made a good point in his life. My theory is that ND turned him down when he was coming out of high school.

I love it when people continue to take cheap shots at his weight when they are calling him out too. It just proves that they have less of an argument than they want to admit.

Oh, and we all know ND beat USC last year, just like OK beat Oregon this year. Just because the recordbook says differently doesn't make it true

Fat Charlie is on his way to a number 1 recruiting class, and that is the name of the game,. Pulled in Armando Aleen from Florida today 4.32 40 time, look for 5 commits thisw weekend. OH they beat GT this year as well as 6 other bowl teams, playing with TYrones players. The future is bright in ND.

Michigan has a history of tanking after losing to ND. It is a huge recruiting game for both. Don't forget Hart got hurt in the ND game last year. Illini, I was going to scold you for misreading the poll.

Dsethi - we'll get together next weekend. Thursday works for me too. :drink:

2 good teams they played combined score was MICH AND USC 81- ND 45 i think
i could coach ND passed the academies and UNC
