As bad as the Giants have been, they can still save their season this week vs Dallas

A win here at home and the Giants are tied and will have beaten Dallas both times, both teams have a similar schedule the rest of the way, both with one tought road game remaining.

I like this angle plus the Giants are geting over a FG @ home....also suppose to be very cold and blustery sunday in NY.

Thoughts?

IMO the spread should be 7+.

Name one part of the Giants team that has an advantage over the Cowboys? (other then place kicker)

I have always believed to make money in the NFL you have to think opposite the public. I know that sounds completely "squareish" but I think if there is 1 sport to do this with it is the NFL. I call it the up/down theory (heard a few call it this) and the game is a CLASSIC EXAMPLE of it. 2 teams who are going in opposite direction creates BIG value (IMO), expect both of these teams to come back to each others level.

I am 100% with you on this. Should be closer to pickem in my eyes, if you look at the whole season instead of the last few games. It will be 1 of my plays Sunday (Tennesee, Detroit (gulp), Green Bay, Philadelphia are the others, with a small lean on Pittsburgh)

road favorites in the NFL, look so GOOD on paper and will kill your wallet in the long run. I can almost guess who all my buddies thru the years would bet in the NFL, was always road favorites. The icing on the cake is that hook (+3.5) you will get.

IMO they are the favorite for a reason......NY is a dog for reason.

I see no way NY can stop the Cowboys. Giants are a shell.....

Agree totally Ice.

yeah it looks so easy for Dallas , uh huh, til about 5:30 sunday...I'm a little concerned with the injury situation...I also believe this line would have been sitting at 2.5 or less had the Giants won last week.

Always remember the lines are based on public perception more than anything....the squares will be all over Dallas...not saying you are one, but it's never as easy as it looks.

It is sometimes. Squares fucking raked in tonight in NBA, as I faded them with the books.

It's quite different in the NFL as there is only one game per week.

Dallas is only giving up a FG with a good showing last week while the Giants are getting a FG with a poor recent record. The books are setting this line at this level for a reason.

Take a look at Pinnacle. Games are limited at the 42k level all except for this game and the Sea/Den game where they are allowing 71k. They are allowing people to put more money on Dallas. There's a reason for this. They did this on the Indy game a couple weeks ago when Indy lost outright for the first time and they were the dog for the game!

Take the Giants in this one. Just like I took 6-5 Cincy last night at -3.5 when the books were begging you to take 9-2 Baltimore at +3.5.

The Giants have imploded and are done! I expected Shockey to open his mouth and whine and moan, he cant help himself. But when Tiki started complaining about play calling and not getting enough carries, and Strahan called out a teammate, it shows that there is plenty of shit going on in that locker room. They also cant be too happy with Eli throwing more picks than TD's per game, but no one bad mouths the golden boy.

RSVP to the wake, the Giants are dead and buried for this season.

While they're that close to the brink of being buried they still are one win away from being back in sole posession of 1st place...a winnable home game no less! This is the NFL afterall...Dallas comes out and muffs the kickoff or some flukey start and last week is forgotten that quick.

Great takes J-MAN!

I've been wating for this fucer..I knew Pinny would try and suck the public in on this game...3.5 is a lock. Giants win this game by 7 points or more points...

Also like MIA, TENN, OAK, GB (Strong)

I'll be looking for a NYG Alt line -3.5 on this one for the home run

Home teams with a winning record in NFL and getting points are 9-2 this year.
