I think he could rush for over 1000 yards in a single game.

Only if he played QB... Navy runs a ton with their QB, moreso than their RB.

Watching him behind the Arkansas line this year would have been nice.

i think a better question is what if BS had played on the cowboys (and a passing attack that would have kept defenses honest) instead of the lions his whole career....his #s woulda been sick...

If Barry Sanders would have kept playing till they kicked him out of the league, even with Detroit his rushing record would be so far out of reach, it would be considered just as unbreakable as Cy Youngs 511 wins, or Cals consecutive games streak.

Its not out of the question that he could still be playing today if he had not retired.

few other teams would have allowed him to run around in the backfield and put the team in 2nd and 16 all the time.
