I know books don't take paypal. Was wondering if anyone has ever had a "wagering buddy" where both sides use paypal to settle up? Looks to me that you can send money to others in a non-ebay transaction with an email of another paypal member.
I realize both parties have to have significant trust among one another. Was wondering if anyone has tried, or is trying this now and found a positive relationship using paypal.
I also wonder if paypal would start questioning money being transfered (incoming & outgoing) numerous times to a certain individual. Any history on this would be helpful. I would like to give this a try if I thought it could work, and I could find a person on the other end I could trust.Thanks.

People can use PayPal, NETELLER, etc to transfer money from one person to another. PP is not restricted to e-bay use. NETELLER allows peer-to-peer and merchant transactions.

Yeah I looked on their fee schedule and they charge 1.9-2.9% fee for incoming payments. Seems that this could be offset by reduced vig? Not looking for a fight here, just looking for other alternatives..thinking out loud !

You could buy a netspend.com Visa card and transfer money to NEteller. You can also use your PayPal to load the card.
