Anybody still call locals and get a "rundown" of the lines?

Kind of a mutual agreement I quit using the last of my locals 5 or more years ago. Very time consuming and I would always have to correct one or question it.

I was always looking for a total middle or them being off a 3 or 7 by a half point on a game I liked. Inverably they would have a 6point fav as the dog or the total on the steelers 48 instead of 38. I had to flatten their lines before I could even bet. They were older guys fighting the internet and I didn't mind helping them a little for a couple of stale moves I would play.

my mentor. The 1st guy that took me under his wing here and helped me. Talked to him on the phone about a year ago for hours and showed me some of his tricks. I owe him big time. Most every bit of what I try to do on a daily basis, stems from that initial phone call. I have a LONG way to go but I am trying to do it the "Randy" way, EVERYDAY.

As sharp as they come.

Randy, my girlfriend wants to thank you for ruining her and I's relationship(just kidding brother).

Casino, he records his lines, plays 18 and then updates them. Get Don Best, Pinny and a couple othe reduced juice shops and you will ruin his Sat golf game.

to answer your question, yes I have 2 currently. The worse part is I am not up with them on the year. He will have crap like USC-14 like he did today (and yes I tried -11 and +14 for a middle with heavy +14). Can't beat the favorite bias he will have, espicially on the big games (MNF, Thursday games, etc...)

My biggest fear is always when I call and check the total we have and it doesn't match. Talk about a nerve racking few minutes. But it usually ends up all good.

the totals hardly ever go smooth............I have used them for so long though, it always works out. He isn't trying to screw me, nor am I trying to screw his business.

I don't get lines shaded to the favs though, I am marked as a dog player.

I got Okie -2 1'2 tonight and Hawaii -8 from him.

I have these 2 guys that live together, and I've actually middled them on a game twice this year! They don't call at the same times, and other times I knew the one wasn't home.

Intruder,
sure thing. It might be right before game time, but I will give them. I think I'll get a good bit of Atlanta, due to regional Bias.
