Hey guys, please help me out. Whats a good site I can get FTA info at. Im about to order dish network, I am interested in FTA. I miss the old DTV FTA days. Do you recommend paying for the "basic" package while getting FTA? Safer maybe?

I'd recommand you getting basic cable or a basic sat package since you are SOL when the dish goes down. You need atleast something as backup. Im not 100% sure based on how you worded your question but if you get a dishnet dish and reciever you'll always need a FTA reciever to pick up all the channels (you shouldn't need a new dish since you can use a splitter for that) hashhu dot come is one of the best sites out there. The forums are full of crabby people but all the info you need is there you just need to be able to find it.
