turn overs are more likely to happen in the red zone because the endzone turns into a wall for the defense. the dbs can only fall back so far and are mostly watching the qb with no fear of getting beaten deep or anything like that.
but it seems there are more redzone TOs than usual this year. I don't have any historical numbers but it seems to happen 5-6 a week throughout this NFL this season.
