CHARA is slowly turning the Bruins into a contender.........and I think the B's have a better than average shot at making the playoffs...........well, 50-50 anyways. :)

Actually, the BRUINS would be an UNDERDOG in all liklihood on making the playoffs.

As with every year that rolls around for the Sens the big question mark will be goaltending .... and this year its even more of a question mark...

I think they would have to make them a dog to try to generate balanced action.

In which case Boston may be a very good investment.

Looking at the STANDINGS that I just posted, one can see that the BRUINS have played the fewest games in the conference thus far........so they have a couple games in hand on the teams ahead of them in the standings.

BUFFALO invades Tampa tommorrow night, so chances are the BOLTS will be going down once again.

I wanted to say the same thing, Only 2 teams have more goals than Ottawa this year

-Buffallo and Anaheim.

If it wasnt for absolutely horrible goaltending from gerber they would be at least 16-10 instead of 14-12 (probably much better).

I like so many teams in the east that its ridiculous.........for certain storylines if nothing else.

You have teams like TAMPA, WASH, OTTAWA, and PITTSBURGH that are all currently out of the playoffs, but all have a couple tremendous YOUNG players to watch.

Then you have ATL and BUFFALO with all their great scorers.........and even the NYR with veterans JAGR and SHANAHAN..................WOW.

LOVE THE EASTERN CONFERENCE..........especially when ANY two teams from this conference match-up.

Boston is available at odds of 85/1 to win cup as we speak, can be easily hedged if they make the playoffs.

Emery has been the BEST goaltender in the NHL this year. Check the stats.

Unfortunatly, they gave Gerber so many games because he was supposed to be their number 1.
