I have had the Neteller card for a while now but never used it. I think I will try it this week. I had a few questions about it though. I have heard that the Bank of American has the highest limits to withdrawl from. I have heard up to 1000 in a transaction. Is this true? If not, what is a reasonable amount I can expect to withdrawl from one perticular ATM machine. Say i can get 500 from one ATM can I go to another ATM at a different bank and withdrawl the other 500 so I hit my 1000 daily max?

Thanks for the replies in advance!

1000$ a day from any ATM you can go to 5 if you want but you pay a fee each time ....1.50$ fee plus whatever the bank ATM charges

the debit card is awesome I think mainly for small hobby players

I really hope it never goes away

B of A is the place to withdraw. For smaller amounts though, a supermarket might be the place to go even if you have to do mutiple withdrawals. Most markets will allow you to withdraw $300 at a time even without a purchase. A POS charge by NETeller is only .75c per with no other charges.

But remember this....and it's very IMPORTANT. ALWAYS FIGURE THE CHARGES INTO YOUR WITHDRAWAL. So let's say I have $300 in my NETeller debit account. YOU MUST REMEMBER THERE IS A .75c CHARGE to WITHDRAW! So even if you make a purchase, the total you can withdraw is $299.25 total!

IF YOU TRY AND WITHDRAW $300 IT WILL GET DENIED, AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED .75C EACH TIME IT'S DENIED!!! So what happens is, you try to withdraw $300 and when it's denied, you remember about the .75c charge. So now you try 299.25, and it gets denied AGAIN!!! Why? Because they have already charged you another .75c for the denial! Believe me, you better remember that 75.c each time or it'll drive you nutz. I finally went $3 under what I thought I had and it was approved. You call up NETeller and they'll tell you it's their debit card rules and tough titties!

So no matter where you withdraw from them, ALWAYS remember the charges. Same thing with the ATM when making multiple withdrawals. You must figure in NETeller fees + B of A or whoever fees, each time you withdraw. If you are denied you are going to be charged so figure it in when you adjust your withdrawal! you thank me later!

stuckinvegas - Why is B of A the place to withdraw from?
What is their charge for using the ATM?

I checked at NV State Bank and the teller told me there's a flat $2.50 charge for using the ATM (if not for a NV State Bank transaction).

The post right above yours states that it's a $1000 limit per withdrawal at all ATMs. Is this incorrect, and B of A allows more?

Can people who've used this card tell me what fee the ATMs they use charge for the transaction (NOT the NETeller fee, the ATM fee).

I can certaintly understand fees for withdrawals. My problem with the card is that (I think) they charge you an inactivity fee; which I won't go for!

$1.50-$2.50 to the ATM & $2 to Neteller. $4 for a dime isn't bad at all (but if you really want that $4, you can get an EFT in your bank account the next business day)

Does anyone know if you have funds in neteller and you use only eft and they close it because of inactivity after 6 months, would they take the step forward and have your funds forfeited to them, lets say if you stay inactive for another 2 or 3 years? Or will the funds be in there forever?

There's also a charge from Neteller to put money into one's Neteller debit card account.

FYI, the Neteller ATM card is through a US Bank so the IRS can see all the withdraws.

Max is a dime that I know of, when I go to a local casino is when I use it. Oh and I think most know but you can use it as point of sale card as well, like you would a debit card and there is no charge for usage that way.

Sorry for the delay! B of A allows you to withdraw a grand at once where most others are a lot less. If you are making multiple withdrawals, alsways ask for a receipt. That will give you your true balance! But son't forget the service charge.
