Banker, I am in a severe state of depresssion over the Wire situation. I recently moved to Costa Rica and do not have access to the latest HBO shows anymore. I either have to find a source to buy the entire season on DVD or somhow download it from somwhere on the net or wait until it finally comes on down here (could be a year or more). I was almost starting to see a little bit of good in Marlo (very little) till he wasted the secruity guard over the lolly pop thing. Natrually I root for Bunk, Lester and yes the rug muncher Kima as the only cops I really care about.
Bottom line is I need some serious catching up to do. Limewire may be in my future. Is there something wrong with me? I almost always root for bad guys in cop shows (save child molesters and that breed of scum) I always root for Omar to get away.

I am confused here. I saw the show that was shown this last sunday and if i am not mistaken it was only 60 mins..(Unless i lost track of time or something...But i doubt that. My girlfriend had scheduled the movie
Constant gardner right at 10 pm sunday night and it came on right after The Wire ended.
The show ended with Sgt Carver walking away from the kid....

(I didnt see anything big happen, apart from Daniels getting the ok to pick up them bodies...)
All other things seemed only to be setting up a grand finale or a return to the real wire when they setup to go against Marlo Stansfield. (the real Wire show,) and as usual that big F@g is back to his dirty ole tricks again and is about to ignite all out war....
uppy: .....Its time the real "Wire" returned enough of the mayor and his horse and pony show...(any one taking bets on how soon the mayor gets to fvck that sexy black woman on his committee?) I say he fucks her by week 2 next season of even better yet, week 1 to add some tittilation to the resumption of the series next year.
And thank goodness, the gay love theme was abandoned for the entire season this year...:hugesmile (fat tony might hate that, but, i guess you cant please all your fans all the time..

I actually saw one of those FBI stories that kinda parallels the Barksdale crew.. though in this story, the people they were following were not that careful about phones.
Also the fire bombing in this past weekends show is kinda similar to a woman who got the same thing done to her house when she tried to do something about the drug trade...
