Remember the Rx has frozen up btn 12-1 EST the last several Sundays.

That's 9-10 PST for my West Coast mates.

You might want to get your contest picks for the early NFL action in
well before then, and anything else you need to do here, since the site
may go into a one hour iceage total meltdown lockdown freezeup during
that hour, as it has for me {with high speed internet} the past two or
three weeks.

Just a friendly reminder for the old hands & a heads up for newbies.

Last year having a over 1000 registered users online simataneously was unheard of. The site held up well with almost 6000 total online users surfing the various forums. Great job by Rx. Tech Support...

Good job Edgar. Thanks for taking care of things. While things got a little slow it wasn't unbearable. I was able to get to all the forums I wanted.

Definitely improved...still some lag time, but not nearly as bad as previous weeks. :toast:

For me it never slowed down and I mean that as a poster and not just because I am a moderator and was hoping there would be no problems. I even IMed Rick around 12:30PM EDTand said how fast I was able to navigate.

Anyway it looks like almost everyone was able to get around like a normal weekday afternoon. | didn't get a single email asking me what was up with the site being slow (last week I got a bunch).
